Just the iPod touch a better and better over the years. A device which, in my mind, is an iPhone without part phone (3 G).
4Th Gen iPod touch vanteries many of the features the iPhone 4 a, with its view of the retina, rockers of gyroscope, Apple A4 processor, individual volume, FaceTime camera, rear camera, microphone, and 802. .11n ready networking is more than an iPod touch.
The first real major change, that you can see with the new iPod touch is the exterior design. IPod touch 4th Gen is significantly thinner and lighter than the iPod touch 2nd and 3rd Gen which both share the same exact design. The rear of the aircraft is always beautiful chrome has a great line on it. The front of the iPod has changed with the chrome is now less visible around on the front edge and the bezel is considerably thinner from left to right. Volume rockers are separate buttons that attitude feel more pleasant to use. Of course, we have the camera back on the back and FaceTime camera on the front. All changes are fabulous and just that much better iPod touch do in design.
The display is the biggest change for me, the retina that is display. With a resolution of 960 x 640 and the advanced backlight systems Apple have implemented alongside the ambient light sensor, this thing rocks! It really will result as printing out beneath the screen, just seems better to the text of video images. Comparing this exhibition to the previous iPod touch (which had an absolutely superb display) this thing blows away. I also began to notice things in applications which I had never seen before and discussed text thinner because to make it more, it is all due to the display of the retina.
The rear camera is perfectly good images for Twitter etc. but from the iPhone 4 is far the same. IPhone 4 has a rear camera 5MP and the iPod touch 4th Gen 0 7MP Camera back. 0 7MP may seem low, but it fails very nice photos but when you start to explode you notice fewer MP. Video capture on this aircraft is another story, movies in HD 720 p at 30 fps, looks absolutely superb videos and Flip cameras on the market without object.
Video taken outside and inside is crisp, clear and offers rich and contrast colors. By putting the emphasis is also possible by simply touching the screen to the destination you want to focus on. Yet once over the video taken on the iPhone 4 it is not quite as good, but it lost close.
FaceTime camera on the front is VGA quality which is perfect for FaceTime calls. The quality is terrible, which is what I always think when I hear the term VGA, it performs well in low light and when in a call to FaceTime as a jerky video stream never occurs even on really slow connections. The microphone for the two cameras is very high quality, it picks up low level speech well and it is not sound reverberation. When read sounds are clear and clear which is surprising for a small device.
The actual speaker is stronger and better quality compared to the previous iPod touch, it's perfect for playing games and watching movies, but in an area with a lot of noise, you can easily listen to the speaker. Thin and small devices have a challenge of the sound quality of speakers, Apple, I say do an excellent job with this iPod touch is even thinner than the last, but it has a better sounding speaker is quite remarkable.
In terms of actual use as battery always gets better with every new iPod touch and it me through the day with the very heavy use is doing very well. Audio playback is 40hrs and video playback is 7hrs. The iPod is lost a very nice experience to organize and use, the thin bezel helps it take still more nicely in the hand.
Overall it is a fantastic device, if your market an iPhone 4, but you do contract as it is seriously worth considering. IPod touch 4th Gen will also be a gift for anyone who has an older iPod or can just enjoy their music, films, TV shows, Apps / games, email, web, take pictures / films and much much more all in one easily accessible place.
