Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)

Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) provides the latest updates to Microsoft Office XP. SP3 contains significant security, stability and performance improvements. This Service Pack applies to any level of Office XP. It contains all updates included in Office XP Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), as well as the released after SP2.

Microsoft recommends that you use the Office Update site to determine if your computer requires this update before installing it.

Office XP SP3 will install successfully even if you have already installed on your computer one or more of the publicly available updates listed above.

Office XP SP3 also includes stability improvements developed as a result of comments from users through the error reporting tool in Office XP and from Microsoft product support feedback.

To install SP3 without the original Office XP CD

When you install SP3, it is possible to be asked to insert one or more of the original Office XP CD-ROM. If you don't have access to the original Office XP CD-ROM, you can install the full version of Office XP SP3 (58925 KB). Follow the instructions on screen to complete the installation. Note: will still be asked some users the original CD to use the full version of Office XP SP3, according to the installation of Office XP. To install when using Office XP Multilingual User Interface Pack

For complete Office XP SP3 functionality if you are using Office XP Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI), you must install the two following updates:

Office XP SP3 and Access 2002
